Striped CarpetI have been looking for a
Striped Carpetlately as I am redesigning my living room. I have decided to go for a
Striped Carpetthis time rather than a plain one as I believe patterns such as these are coming back into fashion. You only have to look in the house and home magazines to see an abundance of patterns in everything from carpets to wallpaper. I also think that a
Striped Carpetwill mean that the dirt does not show up as much as it would on a plain carpet. The problem I am finding is that I want my stripes to be very muted to fit in with the décor I am envisaging for the room. However, all of the carpets I have seen so far have got really bold stripes and I feel they would be far too much for my room. Another option I have considered is stripping and waxing the floorboards and then just buying a rug to go on top rather than carpeting the room from wall to wall. I am going to my mother`s house for dinner tonight and I have decided that I will ask her advice on the matter so that I can make a more informed decision.
